Product notes for new workflow-building capabilities, reliability improvements, and fixes that make Trelium easier to use.
v1.4.2 — August 28, 2026#
New#
- In-app support chat — You can now reach the Trelium team without leaving the app. A chat launcher appears in the bottom-right corner of your workspace whenever you're signed in. Use it to ask questions, report issues, or get help — your message lands directly with the Trelium support team.
v1.4.1 — August 27, 2026#
New#
- Canvas-first workflow building — When you build or configure a workflow, the visual canvas is now the starting point. The canvas stays visible throughout the build process, so you always have a clear picture of your workflow as it takes shape.
- Per-user activity panel — Admins can now open a detailed activity timeline for any user, making it easier to review recent actions and troubleshoot issues without digging through logs.
Improvements#
- Gmail triggers are more reliable — Gmail-connected triggers now use a managed polling approach under the hood, resulting in more consistent and predictable email-trigger behaviour with less chance of missed events.
Fixes#
- Workflow metadata stays human-readable — Syncing workflow metadata no longer produces technical, step-by-step instructions in the output. Descriptions are now written in plain language, as they should be.
- Billing data protection tightened — An additional layer of access control has been applied to billing records, ensuring that sensitive billing information is only accessible to the right people.
v1.4.0 — August 21, 2026#
New#
- Syncore integration — Trelium can now connect to Syncore (by Facilisgroup). Workflows can look up contacts, suppliers, commission codes, jobs, sales orders, and purchase orders, as well as create and update them, move them through status transitions, add line items, and record payments — covering the full range of everyday Syncore activity.
Fixes#
- Navigating between chats no longer briefly flashes a blank page; a proper loading state is shown while the next conversation opens.
v1.3.2 — August 21, 2026#
Improvements#
- Remember your view preference — Your choice of list or grid view in the workspace is now saved, so you always come back to the layout you prefer.
- Workspace filters are remembered — Filters you apply to the workspace are now persisted, so you pick up right where you left off.
Fixes#
- Chat state preserved when switching tabs — Switching between workspace tabs no longer resets your active conversation or loses answers you've already typed.
- New chat setup continues across tabs — Starting a new chat and then switching tabs no longer interrupts the setup process; it completes reliably in the background.
- Workflow activity loads correctly — The activity timeline for a workflow now consistently shows the right run history instead of pulling from the wrong source.
- Workspace pages load independently — Opening a workspace page no longer stalls or flickers due to background environment updates.
- Folder list no longer blocks the workspace — Loading your folder tree no longer delays the rest of the workspace from appearing.
- In-flight message restored after stopping — If you stop the agent while a message is being processed, that message is correctly restored to the input so you can resume or edit it.
v1.3.1 — August 15, 2026#
New#
- Stacked run cards — Recurring workflow runs are now grouped into a single collapsed card. Click or hover to expand and see every individual run, or use "View all" to browse the full list at a glance.
Fixes#
- Workflow tabs (such as Steps, Settings, and Logs) now stay visible and accessible while a browser automation task is running, so you can navigate freely without losing your place.
- When deleting a workflow fails, you can now dismiss the error message and try again — it no longer gets stuck on screen.
v1.2.0 — August 11, 2026#
New#
- ShopWorks customer and product lookup. When building workflows that connect to ShopWorks, Trelium can now search for a customer by name and find the right account automatically — no need to know the internal customer ID upfront. It can also search the ShopWorks product catalog by style name or part text to confirm items exist and pull in accurate details before placing an order. These lookups are available to the AI workflow builder when designing or running ShopWorks-connected automations.
v1.1.0 — August 11, 2026#
New#
- Browser automation, built in. Trelium can now open and control a real web browser on your behalf. Your workflows can browse websites, fill forms, click through multi-step flows, and extract information, all from within Trelium.
v1.0.3 — August 8, 2026#
Improvements#
- Usage attribution for the Workflow Dev Kit — workflows triggered via the Workflow Dev Kit are now automatically identified and attributed in your usage reports, so you can see exactly where credits are being spent.
- Zero-credit events are now retained — activity that consumed no credits is no longer silently dropped, giving you a complete picture of workflow and agent runs in your usage history.
- Per-step credit totals in Settings — the usage log in Settings now shows credit totals broken down by individual workflow step, making it easier to spot which steps are driving your usage.
v1.0.2 — August 7, 2026#
New#
- Unified workflow builder — workflow details, chat and canvas now live in one workspace. Switch between views with a single selector instead of navigating across separate screens.
Fixes#
- Navigation within the workflow builder now stays consistent when switching between workspaces or returning to an empty workspace.
v1.0.1 — August 4, 2026#
New#
- Invoice and credit lookups for PromoStandards suppliers. Your workflows can now pull invoice and credit-memo records from PromoStandards suppliers. Search by purchase order number, invoice number, or date — invoices and credit memos come back together in a single lookup, so you always get the full picture in one step.
Improvements#
- Complete tracking details for split shipments. When an order ships in multiple batches across different days, Trelium now surfaces every tracking number in the order — each one paired with its ship date and carrier. Previously, split shipments could appear as a single tracking entry, making it hard to follow individual packages.
Fixes#
- Workspace UI chat and workflows are coupled correctly. App loads the chats associated with workflows correctly
v1.0.0 — July 31, 2026#
New#
- Workspaces screen — A dedicated Workspaces view now organises all your workflows and folders in one place. Browse items in a grid or list, move them into folders from the actions menu, share directly from the screen, and use the restructured sidebar to navigate quickly.
Improvements#
- Some workflows that previously appeared without details now correctly load their full metadata.
- The workflow builder's NetSuite guidance has been tightened so it stays focused and gives more relevant suggestions for NetSuite tasks.
Fixes#
- If you were typing a message when a workflow run was interrupted, your draft text is now restored so you don't have to retype it.
- Workflows can now be opened directly from the Jobs run drawer, so you can jump straight to the workflow without extra navigation.
v0.9.0 — July 30, 2026#
New#
- Share workflows as independent copies. You can now generate a shareable link for any workflow you own. Recipients can review what the automation does and import their own independent copy—separate from your original, with no access to your workflows, secrets, private resources, or customer data. Team access through direct sharing continues to work as before.
- Guided setup on import. When someone imports a shared workflow, Trelium walks them through connecting their own accounts, configuring private credentials, Knowledge Base sources, webhooks, and completing any other required setup before the workflow goes live. Nothing is carried over from your environment.
- Plain-language import summary. After an import completes, Trelium provides a clear, human-readable explanation of what was set up, what still needs attention, and what the workflow will do—without technical jargon.
- Approval-gated sharing. Before a share link is published, Trelium reviews the workflow bundle to ensure private values, credentials, Knowledge Base content, and customer data are never included.
v0.8.2 — July 25, 2026#
New#
- Platform outage warnings — Trelium now monitors the health of GitHub and Vercel in real time. If either service experiences an outage or degraded performance, a banner appears at the top of the app letting you know which component is affected and that workspace setup or deployments may be delayed. Warnings clear automatically once the provider recovers.
v0.8.1 — July 25, 2026#
Improvements#
- Jobs page loads faster and remembers your filters. The Jobs list now only fetches the columns you're viewing, so it appears more quickly. When you navigate away and return, your active filters are restored exactly as you left them.
- Workflow builder correctly identifies which connected account to use. When building a workflow that connects to an app like Gmail or Slack, the builder now pinpoints the exact account you've linked — and asks you to choose if you have more than one — before generating any code. This prevents workflows from accidentally targeting the wrong account.
- More reliable Excel and pivot-table workflows. The workflow builder follows a clearer step-by-step process when working with Excel files: it identifies what the workbook needs to do, decides whether to use a cloud API or process the file locally, and validates the output before finishing. Pivot tables are now routed correctly — refreshing existing pivots through the cloud API where possible, and only rebuilding them locally when truly necessary.
- Improved sandbox stability. Under the hood, the team added detailed monitoring for how workflow sandboxes start, recover, and shut down. Most issues will now be caught and resolved faster, with less impact on your active tasks.
v0.8.0 — July 25, 2026#
New#
- PromoStandards is now available as a connection. You can connect Trelium to PromoStandards services and build workflows that look up distributor accounts, check order status, and retrieve shipment and tracking notifications.
v0.7.15 — July 22, 2026#
New#
- Workflows can now read images. When a workflow receives image attachments — such as scanned forms, receipts, delivery photos, screenshots, or handwritten documents — it can extract and use the content automatically.
Fixes#
- Redeploying a workflow now correctly deactivates any previously active triggers, preventing stale or duplicate automations from running in the background.
v0.7.14 — July 20, 2026#
Improvements#
- More reliable agent sessions when your connection drops. Trelium now detects when your browser goes offline, your tab becomes inactive, or a response stream stalls unexpectedly — and automatically reconnects your agent session so work can continue without you needing to refresh or restart.
- Agent reconnects now carry full context from the interrupted session, so the agent picks up exactly where it left off rather than starting a new conversation.
v0.7.13 — July 20, 2026#
New#
- Type ahead while the AI responds. You can now send your next message while a workflow is still running or the AI is still replying — your message queues automatically and is sent the moment the response finishes.
Improvements#
- More reliable ShopVox and NetSuite automations. The workflow builder handles errors more gracefully when working with ShopVox orders and NetSuite records — it now self-corrects mid-run instead of failing the whole step.
Fixes#
- Activity page now shows all recent runs. Recent workflow and job runs that were missing from the Activity view are now correctly listed, including runs loaded as you scroll.
v0.7.12 — July 16, 2026#
New#
- Skill picker in chat — A new skill selector sits right next to the chat input. Click it to open a menu of available skills (such as Investigate Workflow Run or Excel Processing) and pick one before sending your message.
- Slash-command shortcut — You can also type
/directly in the chat box to bring up the same skill menu inline. The slash itself is removed from your message text once you make a selection, so your message stays clean. - Skill badge on sent messages — When you send a message with a skill applied, the skill name is shown as a badge on that message so it's always clear which capability was used.
v0.7.3 — July 9, 2026#
New#
- Workflow cost tracking: Your usage dashboard now shows the AI and processing costs for each workflow run, broken down by type, making it easier to understand where credits are being spent across your automations.
Improvements#
- Job cards now show what a workflow is waiting for: When a workflow is running and listening for an incoming event or webhook, its card in the Jobs view displays a live status, including which event it's expecting and, once received, a summary of what arrived. You no longer need to open a run to know whether a trigger has fired.
- Activity and jobs views are faster and more stable: The workflow activity feed and jobs list load quicker, refresh more smoothly, and no longer flicker or duplicate entries while polling for updates.
- Wake up sleeping jobs more easily: The "Wake now" button is now more prominent on the Jobs board, inside the run detail drawer, and in the workflow Activity list, so you can resume a sleeping job without hunting for the option.
- Smoother chat reconnects: If your connection drops or times out mid-response, the AI message now picks up right where it left off instead of flashing blank and replaying from the start.
- Scroll-to-latest button in chat: The button that jumps you to the newest message in a task chat is now labelled clearly, making it easier to spot when you've scrolled up to review earlier messages.
- Cleaner running-workflow indicators in the sidebar: Active workflows now display a consistent activity indicator in the sidebar. The old redundant status label has been removed, leaving a cleaner, less cluttered navigation experience.
Fixes#
- Chat now stays in sync as messages arrive: When you're reading a conversation and new messages come in, the chat window now reliably follows along to the latest message instead of losing its position. Jumping to your most recent message also ensures it's fully visible in the window.
v0.7.1 — July 7, 2026#
Fixes#
- NetSuite connection now saves your account correctly. When connecting NetSuite using Token-Based Authentication (TBA), your Account ID could previously be saved incorrectly due to a timing issue in the connection flow. This caused your NetSuite connection to appear unreachable — even though your credentials were valid — and any workflows using it would fail. The connection flow has been reworked so your Account ID is always captured reliably at the moment you connect.
Already affected? If your NetSuite connection was set up before this fix and is showing as unreachable, simply disconnect and reconnect through the NetSuite connection page to repair it.
v0.6.6 — July 6, 2026#
New#
- You can now type
/investigate-workflow-runin the chat to instantly kick off a deep investigation into a workflow that's failing or behaving unexpectedly — no need to describe the task manually.
Improvements#
- (New) workflows that send Slack messages now display Trelium's sender name and branding by default.
- The workflow assistant is now significantly better at building NetSuite integrations — including record reads and writes, custom field discovery, item handling, and complex operations like converting Purchase Orders to Sales Orders.
v0.6.1 — June 30, 2026#
New#
- Excel pivot tables in workflows — The workflow builder can now generate real, interactive Excel pivot tables in your workflows.
Improvements#
- Run timer pauses while waiting for your input — The elapsed-time counter on a running task now stops when the agent is waiting for your reply, so the displayed time more accurately reflects how long the agent was actually working.
- Input requests survive page reloads. When a running task pauses to ask you a question or prompt for a choice, that request is now saved. If you refresh the page or navigate away and come back, the question is still waiting for you — no more lost prompts or tasks silently stalling in the background.
Fixes#
- Sandbox stability improvements — Internal changes to how the workflow execution sandbox loads its runtime components reduce the risk of unexpected crashes during workflow runs.
- Deleting a workflow through the AI assistant now reliably removes it from your workspace — no more stale workflows appearing after deletion.
- More reliable connection status for new accounts. Trelium now correctly recognises when you haven't connected any third-party apps yet, instead of treating it as an error. Connection indicators, broken-connection warnings in workflows, and in-workflow app actions all handle this case cleanly — so you won't see misleading error states simply because an integration hasn't been set up yet.
- Slack connection reliability — Trelium now consistently uses Slack's current integration across all parts of the product. Workflows that send Slack messages, workflow templates that include Slack steps, and the AI workflow builder will all correctly identify and connect your Slack account without mismatches or unexpected failures.
v0.6.0 — June 27, 2026#
New#
- Excel support for your AI agent. Added an Excel skill so the agent can build workflows that handle real-world spreadsheets more reliably. It can read and clean messy Excel data, handle dates, formulas, blank cells, and convert rows into business records. It also supports creating or updating styled workbooks, templates, formulas, and large exports reducing spreadsheet errors. Today, we support “pivot-style” summaries by calculating grouped totals in the workflow and writing them back as normal Excel tables. We are working on supporting native Excel pivot tables, we are planning to make it go live next week.
Improvements#
- Faster Jobs board. The Jobs dashboard now loads its initial view quicker, so you spend less time waiting and more time tracking work.
Fixes#
- Knowledge source errors are handled gracefully. If a connected knowledge source fails to load, you'll now see a clear, specific error message instead of a broken or blank state.
- Cleaner task question flow. The Back button no longer appears on the very first question or when there's only a single question — reducing visual clutter during guided task setup.
- Improved session stability. Trelium now correctly detects when a background sandbox has stopped and avoids trying to reuse it, preventing tasks from getting stuck in a bad state.
v0.5.1 — June 23, 2026#
Improvements#
- Agent runtime is now fully stable. The underlying agent that powers your workflow runs has graduated from pre-release to its stable version, making run behaviour more consistent and reliable across all workflows.
v0.5.0 — June 23, 2026#
Fixes#
- "Continue" now reliably resumes your agent. Clicking Continue in the chat correctly picks up the agent's work where it left off, rather than sending the word "Continue" as a new message.
- Chat scrolls to the latest message automatically. When the agent asks for your input or updates its status, the chat window now jumps to the bottom so you never miss an approval prompt.
- Chat no longer freezes while the agent is responding. Fixed a bug where the chat could get stuck in a loop and stop updating during a streaming response.
v0.3.0 — June 22, 2026#
New#
- The workflow builder agent can now diagnose problems in your workflows better. If a run goes wrong, ask the agent to debug it and it will investigate run history and surface what went wrong.
Improvements#
- Deleting a workflow now fully cleans it up. Previously, deleted workflows could leave behind hidden records; they are now removed completely.
- Workflow runs start more reliably thanks to improvements to how execution is controlled under the hood.
- Knowledge base searches are noticeably faster and more responsive. Try it by going to Knowledge Base > Chat
- Workflow notification emails now display times in your local timezone instead of a fixed one.
Fixes#
- Fixed a bug where the elapsed-time counter in chat would get stuck in a continuous update loop.
- Chat sessions now connect to their sandbox more reliably, reducing cases where a chat would fail to get a response.
v0.2.0 — June 13, 2026#
New#
- Fresh chat for every new workflow. Agent nudges users to start a new conversation when creating a second workflow, keeping the UX clean and preventing errors.
Improvements#
- "Shared with you" folder in the sidebar. Workflows that teammates have shared with you now appear in a dedicated folder at the top of your sidebar, so received shares are easy to find without scrolling through your own workflows.
- Clearer sharing indicators. The workflow header now shows a "Shared to" badge when you're viewing a workflow someone shared with you. Owners see a share count on the share button so it's clear at a glance how many people have access.
- Connections and Knowledge in one place. Knowledge source permissions are now managed alongside your Connections, so you only need to go to one place to grant or review access to your apps and data sources.
- Clearer Knowledge scan errors. When a website fails to scan in Knowledge, the affected source now shows a clear error indicator so you know exactly which source needs attention without digging through logs.
v0.1.2 — June 11, 2026#
New#
- Workflow Notifications Go to any workflow and select Notifications to choose which events you want to be alerted on. You'll receive an email whenever those events occur, like when a run completes or fails.
Improvements#
- Smoother reconnects. When an agent chat briefly loses its connection, the app reconnects quietly in the background instead of showing a "reconnecting to workspace" banner.
Fixes#
- More reliable agent responses. Fixed an edge case where the agent could stop unexpectedly at the end of a turn, leaving a reply hanging.
Coming soon#
- Test your workflows safely before going live. A new "Test safely" option runs your workflow against sample inputs without sending real emails, messages, or writes — showing the test input, the expected result, what the workflow returned, and which actions would have been taken. Test runs are clearly badged in Activity and Jobs.
- Share workflows with your team. Share workflows you own with specific teammates or your whole org, with per-person view/run/manage permissions. Shared workflows appear in a dedicated "Shared with you" section in the sidebar, attributed to their owner.
- Install ready-made workflow templates. A new templates catalog with Trelium-built starter workflows. Pick a template, walk through a short setup wizard to connect your accounts and configure it, and the agent installs a fully-owned copy into your own workspace as a normal live workflow.
